Lilian Ehimwenma Adun, the fourth wife of Edo State billionaire, Chief John Osamede Adun popularly called Bob Izua died in a domestic fire accident at her Lagos residence.
According to reports, the mother of 6, fondly called Mama IZ was in the kitchen when a cooking gas exploded and killed her on Monday, June 5th 2017.
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki paid a condolence visit to Chief Adun.
Commiserating with the transport guru, Obaseki described Mrs Adun as a gentle and peace-loving wife up until her last days, adding that Edo State has lost an exemplary citizen.
He also encouraged Chief Adun and other members of the family to look up to God for strength, wisdom and fortitude to bear their great loss.

Chief (Dr.) John Osamede Adun, JP was born on 10 October 1954 in Ogbe quarters, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. He attended the famous Idah Primary School in Ogbe quarters in ward 1, Oredo Local Government Area. After his primary education, he joined his mother who was a trader at the Oba market selling her goods.
He Later join the National Union of Road Transport Workers and rose to the position of a state chairman. Thereafter, he established his own transport business named; Bob Izua Motors; which is today a household name in Edo, Delta, Rivers and Lagos States.

Osamede Adun Bob Izua Kidnap Story
Osamede Adun Bob Izua was reportedly Kidnapped in June 2009. Thisdayonline reported the story:
The Ahionba of Benin kingdom, Chief John Osemede Adun, has been kidnapped by gunmen who invaded his house in Benin late Friday night.
Adun, who is also the Managing Director of Bob Izua Transport Company Nigeria was reportedly abducted at about 9:00pm Friday night at his residence on Eheenede Street, off the popular Oba market road in the ancient capital city.
Sources close to the family disclosed that about 18 armed men in military uniform stormed the imposing residential complex. The kidnappers came in an 18-seater bus in a commando style and whisked Adun away. The operation looked like he was being formally arrested by security agencies.
It was also gathered that one of the chief’s aides whose name could not be ascertained as at press time was shot in the process as he attempted to protest the kidnap of his boss. The aide is presently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital
The kidnap incident occurred less than a week after the mobile police men guarding the house were withdrawn, raising the suspicion that powerful forces may have been behind the chief’s ordeal.
Another close aide to the abducted chief told our reporter that no contact had been established between the kidnappers and the family since the man was kidnapped by the gunmen, a development which has heightened fears about the state of the victim’s health.
In his reaction to the kidnap of Adun, the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Peter Ogboi, said the matter was reported at the Oba Market Police Station.
He confirmed that the kidnappers wore military uniforms and that the abducted chief was kidnapped at his Guests’ House located off Oba Market Road, Benin-City.
According to information lodged at the police station, the kidnappers who came in an 18 seater Toyota Hiace bus were also numbering eighteen.
